Andrew Hsieh | Design + Advocacy

Howdy. I'm Andrew Hsieh and I'm a service designer at Skylight, a government consultancy. For 3 years, I was also a design lead at Login.gov, and currently I'm the executive director of AAMPLIFY, a San Francisco nonprofit teaching leadership skills to high school youth.

I've spoken about digital identity at the California DMV Hackathon, and Asian American issues at CAAMFest and the San Francisco Playhouse. I've also volunteered for U.S. Digital Response, redesigning COVID-19 pages for Pueblo County, Colorado. (And before all this, I worked at Meta, Addepar and a whole bunch of startups.)

Daisy on Brian's shoulder My brother carries my maltipoo, Daisy, after a long day at a festival. Shot on Canon EOS Elan with Dubblefilm Apollo 400.

In my free time, I like film photography, petting my dog, and playing Final Fantasy XIV with family. I've also been learning to crochet recently. All of this, however, pales in comparison to my ongoing project: toddler parenthood. Send help.

Got a cool project? Shoot me a message on LinkedIn. Probably easiest!
